We stand behind our work. Every installation from Great Gas Limited is protected by two layers of cover: our own workmanship guarantee, and the boiler manufacturer's warranty. Here's exactly what that means for you.

Your workmanship guarantee

Our installations include a workmanship guarantee of [X years], covering the quality of the work our Gas Safe registered engineers carry out. If something related to our installation isn't right, we'll return and put it right at no cost to you. [Confirm exact term and any exclusions.]

The manufacturer's warranty

New boilers come with the manufacturer's warranty — up to 12 years on selected models — covering the boiler's parts and, in most cases, labour. The length depends on the make and model you choose, and we'll always tell you the warranty before you buy.

Keeping your warranty valid

To keep both your guarantee and manufacturer's warranty valid, you'll usually need to:

  • have your boiler serviced every year by a Gas Safe registered engineer;
  • register the boiler with the manufacturer (we can do this for you on installation); and
  • keep a record of services and any repairs.

What's not covered

Guarantees and warranties generally don't cover faults caused by misuse, accidental damage, interference by others, lack of servicing, hard-water scale where no scale protection was fitted, or issues with parts of your heating system we didn't supply. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected.
